Also commonly known as the American bison, the buffalo was once in large abundance in the Old West, roaming in large herds across North America. Commercial hunting almost made these majestic creatures extinct during the late 19th century and major recovery efforts have been made to recover their population in the 20th century. The American bison population has grown significantly with these recovery efforts and they are now mostly found in protected wildlife reserves and national parks. 

The Buffalo is a symbol of fruition and having everything that you need. It is a reminder that we all have wealth if we choose to recognize what is important in our lives and if we honor all things sacred.
